By utilizing a piece of plastic sheeting and several pieces of stray timber, a cheap and simple dip tank can be created to enable the de-rusting of larger items. By building the sides up with timber and laying the plastic sheeting inside the timber frame, a simple but effective dip tank can be created for minimal expense. Once the de-rusting has been completed, the Rust Medic rust remover can be scooped out and put back into a storage receptacle for later use.
Water-blasting items after they have been removed from Rust Medic rust remover will give the best results. Let items dry and coat with Steel Shield. Store in a dry environment until you are ready to paint or powder-coat your items. A simple rinse with water and a thorough drying will be all that is required for paint preparation.
